The Hardin County Commissioners were briefed on activities connected to Child Abuse Prevention Month in April.

Job and Family Services Director John Folk and several staff members said they will be wearing blue fleece jackets and will clean a park or two to help make them safe for children. They invited other agencies to assist as well.

Folk also noted that State Representative Jon Cross was in his department and met with staff.

The State of Ohio is the 50th in the nation regarding state funded child welfare.

Hardin County is fortunate to be able to match state funding.
