A competency hearing has been set for the man accused of starting a fire at Kenton’s Walmart in early May.
26 year old Caleb T. Poole was ordered to undergo an evaluation following a hearing in late May.
The psychiatric report has been completed and submitted to the court, which ordered it be sealed.
The competency hearing will be held August 8 at noon at U.S. District Court in Toledo.
Poole allegedly was captured on the store’s security camera placing items in a cart then setting them on fire.
Some of the items were said to have been aerosol cans which created an explosion.
While the fire was contained to a small area, smoke and water damage was estimated at around one million dollars.
