Kenton City Council denied a spot zoning request from Hardin County Commissioners by a vote of 1-6 with Dave Beazley being the lone dissenting vote.
Earlier in the meeting it was revealed that the city received a $2 million small cities grant for a project to begin in 2028 and further funding options will be explored. A few housekeeping items were passed and the city can now seek loans or fiscal forgiveness from the EPA, for continued infrastructure improvements, after resolutions 018-24 through 020-24 were approved.
Kenton City Council will meet again October 14th.
