COVID-19 Cases in Ohio Inching Close to 3000

The number of confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Ohio increased by another 355 as of Thursday afternoon.

 

There are now 2902 cases compared to 2547 Wednesday afternoon.

 

The number of people who have died in Ohio during the pandemic is now up to 81.

 

802 people were hospitalized with 260 of them in intensive care units.

 

The one case in Hardin County involves a male between the age of 70-79. He is hospitalized according to the Ohio Department of Health website.

 

The numbers are edging up around the region.

 

There are now 10 cases each in Allen and Marion Counties, 8 in Hancock County, 4 in Union County, 3 each in Logan and Auglaize Counties and 2 Wyandot County.
