Crash in Ada Claims the Life of One Person, Two Others Injured

One person was killed in a crash that occurred Thursday evening in Ada.

 

According to a release from the Ada Police Department, Aaron Evans was a passenger in a car being driven by Billie Boutwell, who was driving south on Johnson Street at East Lehr Avenue.

 

The car was struck in the passenger side by a vehicle being operated on Lehr by Catherine Summit.

 

Witnessesses reported that Summit ran the stop sign.

 

All three were transported to Lima Memorial Hospital where Evans later died from injuries he appeared to have suffered in the crash.

 

The Ada Police Department, with the assistance of the Hardin County Sheriff’s Office and other agencies, are investigating the details of the crash.
