Cross Would Give Serious Consideration to Governor’s Proposal Banning E-Cigarettes

Gov Mike DeWine is urging Ohio lawmakers to draft legislation that would ban the use of flavored e-cigarettes given the current health risks associated with the product.
83rd District Representative Jon Cross said he would give serious consideration to the proposal, “I think for me it’s a no-brainer. I think anything that we can do to limit or reduce the health risk issues, given the fact that there has been some recent deaths due to vaping is a good idea. I think people need to be educated on it and certainly I will give the proposal a serious look-over and serious consideration.”
He said for now though, it’s important for people to be aware of the health risks so they can make right decisions on use of the product.
