Dead Body Found in Vacant Lot in Findlay

An investigation is underway in Findlay after a deceased person was located.

According to a release from the Findlay Police Department, the body of a male was found in a vacant lot in the 200 block of Jefferson Street this past Saturday morning.

The body was taken to the Blanchard Valley Hospital morgue.

The person’s identity and cause of death have not been determined.

Hanco EMS and Findlay Fire Department assisted at the scene.

The Hancock County Coroner’s Office  and Findlay Police Department are investigating.
