Death of Lima Resident Suspected to be Homicide

The death of a Lima resident is being investigated as a homicide.

According to a release from the Allen County Sheriff’s Office, deputies were dispatched to the 1900 block of East Elm Street in Lima late Thursday morning in reference to a wellbeing check.

Upon arrival, they discovered the body of 44 year old Nikole Burgess.

The investigation is ongoing.
