A Digital Empowerment for Parents event has been scheduled for Thursday March 12 from 6:30 until 8:30pm at the Mid Ohio Cooperative facility on State Route 309 just west of Kenton.

The event, which is sponsored by Quest federal Credit Union and Mid Ohio, features former ICAC investigator Scott Frank, who will present information to parents to help keep their kids safe in the digital era.

Frank also is an internet safety expert, who has traveled the country to share his perspective with educators, counselors, youth pastors, parents and more, to help empower their children to make safe and healthy choices online.

For more information on the Digital Empowerment for Parents event, tune in Public Eye for a conversation with Hardin County Sheriff Keith Everhart and Ron Rogers.

The show airs Saturday morning at 7:30 and Sunday at noon on WKTN.
