Don’t Forget to Vote

It is Election Day.

The polls are open from 6:30 this morning until 7:30 this evening.

There are contested races for council positions in Kenton, Alger and Forest as well as trustee positions in Buck, Liberty, Marion, McDonald and Roundhead Townships.

Contested school board races for Ada, Ben Logan, Kenton and Riverdale are on the ballot as well.

Five candidates are running for Mayor of McGuffey.

Several money issues will also be decided.

There are levies for the Liberty Township Park District, Ada Public Library and Southeast Hardin Northwest Union Joint Fire District.

The Ada and Elgin School Districts and Tri Rivers Joint Vocational School are asking voters to approve levies.

The Kenton City School District is seeking approval of a bond issue for the construction of a new middle and high school building.
