Driver Cited After Crash at Conkle’s Florist Sunday Afternoon

An accident Sunday afternoon damaged a business on South Main Street in Kenton.

According to information on the Daily Log Sheet of the Kenton Police Department, a semi ended crashing into Conkle Florist at 856 South Main.

The crash was reported at 2:18 Sunday afternoon.

Jason Thomas, of Stoutsville, Ohio, was cited for a marked lanes violation.

The semi and at least one other vehicle were heavily damaged.

Extensive damage occurred to Conkle’s, and the store is temporarily closed.

There were no reports of injuries, but no other information has been released at this time.
