Driver Injured After Car Strikes House on Scott Avenue

A driver was injured after the car he was driving struck a house in the 400 block of Scott Avenue late Monday afternoon.

The vehicle was travelling north on Scott when it went off the roadway and struck the porch area of the house.

The driver of the car was transported to Hardin Memorial Hospital for treatment of unspecified injuries.

According to the Daily Log Sheet at the Kenton Police Department, Cade Thomas was cited for a reasonable control violation.

No one was in the house at the time of the accident, which remains under investigation.
