He was a 1957 graduate of Marseilles High School. Mr. Thomas was owner/operator of Thomas Drainage and Excavating. He did excavating, tiling, stone hauling and was a farmer. He sold seed corn Trojan, Pfizer Genetics and had previously worked at Whirlpool, Marion.
Mr. Thomas was a 66 year member with Ohio State Grange of Painter Creek, and a Farm Bureau member. He was a member of the Hardin County Pork Producers, and Marseilles Volunteer Fire Department. Mr. Thomas was a Land of Goshen 4-H and Tractor 4-H adviser. His favorite sports teams were The Ohio State Buckeyes and Dallas Cowboys. He loved to watch his grandchildren and share their successes with others. Mr. Thomas will be remembered as a faithful sole caregiver of his wife for 18 years.
