Erik Matthew Rickenbacher, 30 of Richwood passed away at his residence on Monday, October 5, 2020. He was born on July 27, 1990 in Columbus, Ohio to Kevin and Kelly (Clingerman) Rickenbacher, his parents survive in Kenton. Also surviving are a sister, Jordan (Jack) Draper of Logan, UT; paternal grandparents, Paul and Nancy Rickenbacher of Kenton; several aunts, uncles, cousins (including special cousin Jeffrey Hites) and his girlfriend and her daughter Heather Tanner-Winegarder and Lyric. He was preceded in death by maternal grandparents, Cletus and Maxine Clingerman.
Erik was a 2008 graduate of Marysville High School and worked for Hensel Ready Mix. He enjoyed music, playing guitar, golfing and spending time at Indian Lake with his family and friends. He also leaves behind his dog, Klaus. Erik will be remembered for his great sense of humor and huge heart; he could always make anyone feel better (even when they were down).
Funeral services will be held at 11:00am Saturday, October 10, 2020 at SCHINDEWOLF-STOUT-CRATES FUNERAL HOME with Pastor David Holbrook officiating. Visitation will be held from 2:00-4:00pm and 6:00-8:00pm Friday, October 9, 2020 at the funeral home.
