On an evening set up to show off a few major facelifts at Riverdale’s Falcon Field, the baseball team delivered an impressive win on the diamond.

Several generous donors made the dream become a reality.

The work was done in honor of Coach Wes Davis who passed away in 2021.

The team honored Coach Davis before the baseball game.

A special ceremony was held with his family in attendance.

Coach Davis is credited for impacting many lives, especially members of the baseball team.

The Coach’s son Brock threw out the first pitch and the team wore the #33 in memory of Davis.

That number was also on the scoreboard in the “batter’s box” the whole game.

The Falcons went on to defeat Value 24-1 in 4 innings.

They improved to 9-2 overall and 4-0 in the Blanchard Valley Conference.
