Findlay Man Struck and Killed by Car While Crossing I-75 in Wood County

A Findlay man, who was walking across I 75 in Wood County, was killed after being struck by a car at just before 7pm Tuesday evening.

According to a release from the Bowling Green Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol, 69-year-old Daniel Soloman was walking from east to west across I 75 when he was struck by the car being operated by 34-year-old Leroy Newson, of Detroit, Michigan.

Soloman was pronounced dead at the scene.

The crash remains under investigation.
