Findlay Residents Receiving Scam Phone Calls

Several residents in Findlay reported that they have been getting calls from someone claiming to be an officer for the Findlay Police Department.

The caller is asking to collect money on behalf of the Fort Findlay Fraternal Order of Police Lodge number 20. 

Findlay Police reminded residents that the department does not call for donations and that any such call is a scam. 

Residents are advised to not provide the caller with any financial details and hang up.
