A fatal house fire is under investigation in the Village of McGuffey.
According to McGuffey Fire Chief Jerry Ault, firefighters were dispatched at around 5 Saturday morning to 104 Hunsicker Street in the village.
The chief confirmed that two bodies were found inside, but he would not release the names.
The cause of the fire has still not been determined.
The Ohio State Fire Marshal’s Office is assisting the McGuffey Fire Department in the investigation.
The house was completely destroyed.
Fire departments from Kenton, Ada, Alger and Roundhead assisted the McGuffey Fire Department.
Firefighters were on scene until around 2:30 Saturday afternoon.
