Flag City BalloonFest Scheduled Next Weekend in Findlay

Findlay, OH, August 2, 2019 – The Flag City BalloonFest will host its twentieth hot air balloon festival Aug. 9 – 11 at Emory Adams Park in Findlay.

Spectators can look forward to a number of new events and enjoy returning favorites. While some activities have minimal fees, the Flag City BalloonFest has no admission or parking fees thanks to its generous sponsors.

Over 35 new and returning hot air balloons including several special shape balloons will fly through Hancock County in the morning and evenings of the festival, weather permitting. Balloon rides, tethered balloon rides and helicopter rides will be available throughout the weekend.

The famous balloon glow will take place at dusk both Friday and Saturday night.

Live entertainment will take place at the Main Stage on Friday featuring the Hancock County Children’s Choir and local bands Sol Jam and SubAtomic Genius.

Local bands including Anything Jones, Rival Tribes, Null Set and Electrik Circus will perform throughout the day on Saturday, Aug. 10.

A beer tent hosted by The Miracle League of Findlay will be open near the Main Stage 3 p.m. to midnight both Friday and Saturday.
