Governor Mike DeWine has ordered that the flags of the United States and State of Ohio will be flown at half-staff today (Wednesday August 31).
That is to honor the lives lost to overdose and to recognize and raise awareness for Ohio Overdose Awareness Day.
The flags on all public buildings and grounds throughout the staff should be flown at half-staff.
The order is in effect from sunrise this morning until sunset this evening.
