Forest Officials Explain Solution Used to Sanitize Playground Equipment

Some citizens in Forest have been asking about what is being sprayed on the playground equipment for sanitizing purposes.

Village officials said they are using an 80% ethanol alcohol solution that is approved by the CDC to kill COVID-19. 

Further, this solution meets FDA, CDC and WHO guidelines. 

The active ingredient is 80% ethanol alcohol. Inactive ingredients are glycerin, hydrogen peroxide and purified water.
