Forest Resident Receives Scam Social Security Call

A resident in Forest reported that they received a scam call from Social Security.

The phone number comes in as a 813 area code.

The caller was told that legal action would be taken against them. 

This is a scam as Social Security does not make phone calls.

Do not give them any information, and keep all your personal information safe.
