Forest Residents Warned About Scam

Residents in Forest were advised about a scam taking place today involving an individual selling cookies and candy bars in the village.

According to information on the Village of Forest facebook page, the man states that the sales are for a youth group.

The police department said that the suspect is not selling them for a youth group and this was a scam.

The cookies are in a tin with the words Youth Group on the tin.
