Forest Woman Injured in Findlay Crash

A Forest woman was among four people injured in a crash that occurred to start the weekend in Findlay.

According to a release from the Findlay Police Department, 73 year old Thomas David, of Delaware, Ohio, was driving south on South Main Street, when a vehicle in front of him, being operated by 74 year old Richard Dafler, of Findlay, slowed down to turn right onto Pearl Street.

David failed to slow down in time, and his vehicle struck the rear of Dafler’s vehicle causing disabling damage to both.

David suffered a chest injury.

A passenger in his car, 95 year old Mary Thomas, of Forest, had injuries to her neck and hands.

Dafler sustained arm and shoulder injuries, and a passenger in his vehicle had injuries to both arms.

David was cited for an assured clear distance ahead violation.
