Fostoria Woman Injured in Findlay Crash

A Fostoria woman was injured in a crash that occurred in Findlay Sunday afternoon.

According to a release from the Findlay Police Department, 38 year old Jane Ritter was driving west on Tiffin Avenue, and when she stopped for traffic, her car was struck from behind by a vehicle being operated by 18 year old Gabriel J. Vonstein, of Arlington.

Vonstein told officers that he looked down for a brief moment and didn’t know traffic had stopped in front of him.

Ritter was transported to Blanchard Valley Hospital for treatment of a neck injury.

Vonstein was cited for an assured clear distance ahead violation.
