State Rep. Jon Cross will be hosting a ceremony to honor four Hardin County Sheriff Deputies for their bravery in the line of duty.

The ceremony will start at noon on Thursday October 15 on the east steps of the Hardin County Courthouse in downtown Kenton.

Sergeant Kendrick Garmon and Deputies Aric LaRue, Christopher Fannon and Mark Ellis are being recognized for their work in removing a man who was trapped inside a burning car after an accident late last month.

The crash occurred on County Road 175 at State Route 309 just east of Kenton.
