Four Injured in Monday Morning Crash; Report Released Today

The Kenton Police Department released information on a crash that injured four people early this past Monday.

 

According to the report, 19 year old Imanol Romero, of Kenton, was driving north Main Street and failed to negotiate the curve onto East Forest Road.

 

The vehicle ended up off the road where it clipped a utility pole. It continued into a tree line off East Forest Road where it struck an embankment before coming to rest.

 

Romero and passengers 18 year old Luke Woodruff and 15 year old Stella Phillips, were all transported to Hardin Memorial Hospital.

Another passenger, 17 year old Conner Snowden, was taken to Lima Memorial Hospital.

 

Alcohol was suspected, and Romero is facing numerous charges including aggravated vehicular assault and vehicular assault.

 

The crash remains under investigation.
