Get Ready to Play: Kenton’s Longest Day of Play Marks Summer Solstice

The first day of summer is this Thursday, June 20.

That is the day of the year that offers the most daylight.

As part of that, the City of Kenton is promoting the Longest Day of Play.

The Kenton Pool and Murray Park Splash Pad will be open extended hours that day.

The pool hours will be open from 1pm until 9pm and the Splash Pad will be open from 11am until 9pm on Thursday.

Some other fun things to try are the new Gaga Pit at Pioneer Park, Disc Golf at Wharton Park and Pickleball or Tennis at the Kenton High School.
