Gloria D. Clark, 89 of Kenton

Gloria D. Clark, 89 of Kenton passed away on Friday, July 17, 2020 at her residence.  She was born on February 19, 1931 in Paulding, Ohio to the late Wilbur and Dorothy (Stewart) Brown.  Gloria married Lester S. Clark on March 20, 1949 and he preceded her in death on July 21, 2019. She is survived by four children: Terri Holloway, and Michael (Terri) Clark both of Kenton, and Andrea (Dwaymon-Deceased) Warren and Leslie Moore, both of Cincinnati. Gloria is also survived by five grandchildren: Shane Holloway, Monica Clark, Amy Clark, Dominic (Heather) Underwood, and Katie Anderson; two great-grandchildren; Madison Cardenas Clark and Theodore Underwood.

She is also survived by her brother, Wilbur (Donna) Brown, Jr. of Yellow Springs, Ohio, sisters; Alma Whetsel of Ridgeway and Elaine Brown of Kenton and sister-in-law Sara Brown of Bowling Green, Ohio.  Gloria was preceded in death by her brother, Roger Brown and sister, Shirley Ann Brown. Gloria was a 1948 graduate of Kenton High School and a member of Payne Chapel AME Church.  She was a great cook and enjoyed spending time with her family and hosting family gatherings.  Mrs. Clark worked at Kroger’s for many years as a baker. Visitation for Gloria will be held on Thursday, July 23, 2020 from 2:00 – 4:00 & 6:00 – 8:00 PM at the SCHINDEWOLF-STOUT-CRATES FUNERAL HOME and for one hour (10:00 – 11:00 AM) at the church prior to the service.  The funeral service will begin at

11:00 AM on Friday, July 24, 2020 at St. John’s Evangelical Church.
