COLUMBUS, Ohio – Gov. DeWine has announced the reopening dates for restaurants, bars, hair salons, barbershops, nail salons and more, which will begin May 15.
“For the last week or so, we’ve talked about how we need to do two things at once: bring back the economy and stay safe. We are Ohioans. We can do it. How we open up is so very, very important. The how is an essential part of how successful we’re going to be,” he said.
During Thursday’s press conference, DeWine began with hair salons, barbershops, day spas and nail salons, announcing a reopening date for May 15.
DeWine said a group has met to discuss the best reopening strategies for these businesses.
Additionally, DeWine announced restaurants and bars can reopen for outside dining on May 15 followed by inside dining on May 21.
