Graphic Packaging Complying with Social Distancing and Safety Guidelines

The Kenton Hardin Health Department performed a walk-thru inspection at Graphic Packaging this (Monday) morning. 

The inspector observed that the 6-foot distances were clearly marked at the work stations, along with only one chair at each of the break room tables.

Graphic Packaging said that they have shields on order that will additionally protect employees. 

They are currently still waiting on thermometers, but the Health Department has been advised that temperatures are no longer a good indicator of the virus. 

The health department inspector saw no infractions or evidence that Graphic Packaging has not met recommendations at this time.

The company cannot inform anyone of someone’s health status, but they will communicate with the Health Department about affected employees and those individuals will be contacted by the nurses to discuss their risk and precautionary measures, based on exposure.
