The Findlay Police Department requested a Hancock County Sheriff’s Office K-9 unit for a vehicle search near Tiffin Avenue and CR 236 over the weekend.
A concerned citizen notified police about a suspicious vehicle and people in the area.
Officers observed indicators of the possibility of narcotics being present, and K-9 Charlie made a positive alert on the vehicle.
That resulted in suspected heroin, methamphetamine, and numerous drug paraphernalia items being recovered.
