Hancock County Sheriff’s Office Warns About Possible Scam

The Hancock Sheriff’s Office is warning citizens about a possible scam involving contracting crews. 

These individuals will say they are in the area doing various home improvements such as driveways, parking lots and roadways. 

Residents should be mindful before paying for services without doing research on any contractors that stop by your business or residence offering their service. 

The Sheriff’s Office encourages residents to contact the Office if they notice these types of solicitation.
