Hancock County Veterans Service Office Inviting Community to Veteran’s Day at Hancock County Fair

The Hancock County Veterans Service Office is inviting the community to the Hancock County Fair on Wednesday, August 28th for Veterans Day at the fair.

On August 28th, veterans will receive free admission with a valid state or federal military or veterans ID.

Veterans will also receive a $7 lunch voucher while supplies last.  These vouchers can be used at select food vendors at the fair.

There will be live music with Guitars For Vets – Findlay, OH band performance at 3:00 p.m, reVerb performance from 3:30-5:15 & 6-6:30 PM, and Guitars for Vets band will perform a few songs with reVerb during their sets.

There will also be free dinner (pizza or subs and salad) for veterans and their families immediately following a brief 5:15 p.m. ceremony.

Donkey Races will also take place and will happen in North Grandstand at 7:00 p.m.  The Donkey Races will benefit the Flag City Honor Flight.

The Hancock County Veterans Service Office staff will be in the Merchant’s Building at their booth throughout the remainder of the Hancock County Fair.
