Happy Homecoming For Wildcats

It was a happy homecoming Friday for the Kenton Wildcats as they defeated Defiance 42-14 in Western Buckeye League play at Robinson Field.

With it’s third straight win, Kenton improves to 3-1 overall and sits in a three-way tie for first in the WBL with a 3-0 league mark.

Defiance falls to 0-4 overall and 0-3 in the WBL.

Blaine Huston threw for 342 yards and 3 touchdowns while also rushing for a score. Landon Rush finished with 11 receptions for 134 yards and 2 TDs while Jayden Cornell ran for a score and caught a touchdown pass. Noah Eikenbary also rushed for a TD for the Cats.

Huston and Brandon Bowling were named the Ace Hardware Players of the Game.

Hannah Holland was named Homecoming Queen. Her court included senior attendants Bailie Clark and Aubrey Thrush, junior attendant Carly Dearing, sophomore attendant  Lascha Wells and freshman attendant Gabi Wetherill.
