Hardin County Fair: Opening Day Ushers in a Week of Fun and Entertainment

Today is the first day of the 2024 Hardin County Fair.

The official opening will take place at noon at the Gazebo.

Noon is also when the rides will open.

The first 125 will receive a free ride wrist band each day of the fair thanks to several generous sponsors.

Numerous activities and judging will take place throughout the day.

The highlight in the Grandstand tonight is the Crowning of the Junior Fair King and Queen followed by the High School Band Show starting at 6:30pm.

Make sure you visit WKTN in our new location in the Machinery Building.

The exhibit Buildings close at 9:00pm and the rides at 10:00pm tonight.

The fair runs through this Sunday, September 8th at the fairgrounds in Kenton.
