Buchenroth talked about what the kids had to do to compete, “This year the kids had to register in July and after they were registered, they were able to start selling 50/50 tickets. Those tickets cost $5 each, and the money generates scholarship money for our royalty for the fair.”
Buchenroth said a total of $12,150 was raised in ticket sales, which means the winner of the 50/50 drawing will receive $6075.
Isabelle will draw the winner since she sold the most tickets.
That will take place on opening night of the Hardin County Fair on September 5.
