Hardin County Housing Development Meeting May 9

The Hardin County Housing Development will hold its next meeting on Tuesday, May 9.

The two items under old business deal with properties in the 300 block of East North Street and 200 block of North Leighton Street in Kenton.

The meeting will begin at 12 noon, and will be held in the conference room of the Hardin County Board of DD. 

It is located at 707 North Ida Street in Kenton.

95 Silver St – Changed furnace filter, spring property clean up, contacted Spectrum about buried cable on property 

123 Silver St – Changed furnace filter, reworked laundry room to accommodate the new washer and dryer, fixed gates on fence, fixed plugged kitchen sink, replaced window shutter that blew off, spring property clean up 

131 Autumn Haze – Changed furnace filters, removed old and replaced new vinyl plank bathroom floor, installed grab bars in shower and bathroom wall, replaced toilet seat in master, spring property clean up 

211 E Ohio – Changed furnace filter, complete bath demo and remodel including flooring, complete bedroom remodel for new tenant, replaced old water spigot on outside, new brass fittings on water supply line before meter, removed “miles” of tv cable from outside of house, spring property clean up 

214 N Leighton – Installed new deadbolt on front door, called police-neighbor was open burning near house, helped tenant move furniture, spring property cleanup 

229 N Leighton – Filter replaced, new tenants moved in, installed door alarms on front and back door, caulked bedroom windows 310 E North – Changed furnace filter, in the process of interior updating, roof repairs 

324 S High – Changed furnace filter, spring cleanup of property, no other updates 

360 Superior – Changed filter, repaired front storm door due to wind, removed toilet on 2 separate occasions because of blockage 

505 N Ida – Changed furnace filter, furnace repair-draft inducer motor fan replaced, spring property cleanup 

614 N Wayne – Changed furnace filter, no other updates 

890 W Carey – Replaced furnace filter, replaced kitchen faucet, repaired storm door due to wind, spring cleanup of property, 

1125 W North – Changed furnace filter, spring property cleanup, No other updates at this time Met with Robert Dengel, appraiser, at all properties for the county appraisal.
