More rain is forecast Saturday night and early next week, which could cause problems with already saturated ground.
The immediate concerns in our region are flood warnings that have been extended into Saturday morning for Allen, Auglaize and Hancock Counties.
…The flood warning continues for the following rivers in Ohio…
.Portage River At Woodville
.Eagle Creek Above Findlay
.Blanchard River Near Findlay
.Auglaize River near Fort Jennings affecting Allen…Paulding and Putnam Counties
.Ottawa River near Kalida affecting Putnam County
.Blanchard River at Ottawa affecting Putnam County
.Maumee River at Fort Wayne affecting Allen and Paulding Counties
.Maumee River near Defiance affecting Defiance and Henry Counties
.Saint Marys River near Decatur affecting Adams…Allen and Van Wert
Emergency management and law enforcement reported flood waters still rising across the warned area. Water from the Sixmile Aqueduct is contributing to flooding in St. Marys.
Elsewhere there are numerous road closures. While rain has ended across the area, runoff from the earlier excessive rain will cause flooding to continue to occur.
