As a precaution, all Hardin County schools have been on lock down due to an indirect threat.
According to Hardin County Sheriff Keith Everhart, a male subject in Allen County stated he was going to “shoot up a school.”
Since the suspect has family in Hardin County, the decision was made to place the schools on lockdown.
The suspects whereabouts are unknown at this time, and Sheriff Everhart said they don’t know what his intentions are.
The students and staff at the schools are safe.
