The Hardin County Sheriff’s Office sent out a heartfelt thank you earlier this morning.

They thanked their numerous sponsors for their support of the 2024 DARE Golf Scramble.

The Sheriff’s Office stated that it is their sponsorship that makes it possible to carry out the DARE program each year and that sponsors are the reason that so many students have been educated with the skills that enable them to avoid negative influences and instead, allow them to focus on their strengths and potential.

The national D.A.R.E. program was founded in 1983 and has proven so successful that it has been implemented in thousands of schools throughout the United States and many other countries.

The program includes police officer-led series of classroom lessons that teach children to resist peer pressure and live productive drug and violence-free lives.

The full list of sponsors can be found on the Hardin County Sheriff’s Office Facebook page.
