Hardin County Talks Holds Candidate Forum

Hardin County Talks, led by Payne Chapel A.M.E. Church and the Hardin County Planning Committee held a virtual question and answer forum last week for Kenton City Council candidates.

Those participating were Joel Althauser, who is running unopposed for another term as Council President, B.J. Hall and Peg Wren, two candidates who are vying for one of three open council at large seats.

Also on the ballot for council at large, but who didn’t participate were Robin Jones and Anda Tudor.

The late Patricia Risner’s name remains on the ballot.

Also taking questions at the forum were David Beazly, who is running unopposed for a seat from the 2nd Ward, Mary Burkett, unopposed in the 1st Ward and Antwilla Davis, running unopposed in the 3rd Ward.
