Hardin County Y Enters into Agreement with Lima Y Following Retirement of CEO

The Hardin County YMCA is announcing that long time CEO, Sean Galvin is retiring effective July 31, 2019.

He has served as CEO for the past 24 years.

In a release, Board Chair Annette Ansley said, “We wish him well in his next endeavors.”

A recognition reception will be announced at a later date. Community, members, staff and volunteers are welcomed and encouraged to attend.

To provide executive leadership for the Hardin County YMCA, the board has decided to enter into a management agreement with the Lima YMCA, under the leadership of CEO, Jared Lehman.

Ansley stated, “Sean has been our CEO since 1995, and is now moving into retirement. The board thanks him for his service. We are excited about the opportunity to work with the Lima YMCA to strengthen our capacity to serve Hardin County and meet our mission.”
