The Hardin County Commissioners got an update from Sharon Huston, Hardin Hills Administrator, on her virtual meetings with Governor DeWine and Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services regarding staff and resident testing.
Nurses will be trained to do the test within a 24 hour period with the National Guards picking up the tests.
Every new hire will be tested prior to starting, and residents will be tested the day they are admitted to Hardin Hills.
Every nursing home will receive their own machine to test on a weekly basis.
Testing weekly may reduce outbreaks.
