Students in Mrs. Cano’s high school art classes assisted in the designing, painting and cutting out of a large wooden polar bear that will be on display in Kenton over the holidays at the Lake of Lights.

The Lake of Lights is a drive-through event/celebration of Christmas and the holiday season that includes lights and music and will host displays of school mascots from various area schools. HN’s Chilly is all ready for the event and you can see him at the Lake of Lights this year at the Saulisberry Park at France Lake beginning the Friday after Thanksgiving until December 31, 2023 from 6:00pm-9:00pm.

While there, you can also look for the signs that previous art classes have made, so be on the lookout for some singing penguins and a big polar bear holding some special characters! There is a $5 donation per car.

Come out and support your local schools, organizations and church groups while enjoying a fun show!
