The Hardin Northern Local School Board of Education is seeking applicants to fill the unexpired term of board member Josh Grappy, who resigned on December 18.
The board will begin interviewing candidates soon and must name a replacement within 30 days of the resignation.
The newly appointed member will serve until December 31, 2025.
If the appointed member desires to continue serving, he or she must run in the next general election in November 2025.
Interested candidates must be a resident of and registered to vote in the Hardin Northern School District.
They must be at least 18 years old and a U.S. citizen.
Those interested in serving on The Hardin Northern Local School Board of Education should fill out and application and email it to Brennon Hattery at brennon.hattery@hardinnorthern.org.
The Board of Education will review all applications and appoint a replacement at their next regular scheduled meeting or special meeting if necessary.
