Hardin Northern Looking to Fill Vacated School Board Seat

The Hardin Northern Board of Education is seeking applications to fill a vacated board seat due to the resignation of Board Member Mrs. Sara Stewart effective May 15, 2023.

The Board intends to appoint a new Board Member to serve until December 31, 2023 at which time the newly appointed Board Member would need to run and be elected in a special election occurring November 2023 to serve the remaining two years of the unexpired term through December 31, 2025.

Applications available for download through a link on the Hardin Northern Local School District Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/HardinNorthernSchool

They must be completed and received by the end of the day, Friday, May 26, 2023.

Completed applications can be emailed to Brennon Hattery, Treasurer/CFO at brennon.hattery@hardinnorthern.org, mailed to Hardin Northern Local School District – Attn: Brennon Hattery, Treasurer/CFO, 11589 St Rt 81 Dola, Ohio 45835 (must be received by May 26, 2023), or dropped off during normal business hours at the same address.

The Board will meet in a special meeting the following week to review all applications received, and to decide on an interview schedule. The Board will officially vote on a resolution to appoint their chosen new Board Member at a special board meeting no later than June 15, 2023.
