Hardin Northern Schools Helping A Teacher

Hardin Northern Schools are asking for donations to help Ms. Ashlyn DeLong who is a first grade teacher at Hardin Northern.

According to a post on Hardin Northern’s Facebook Page, Ashlyn is a dedicated educator who has worked this entire year during Covid, doing in person instruction, while being pregnant with her first child. Ashlyn tragically and unexpectedly lost her husband of less than a year this past Saturday. Three weeks ago her and her husband welcomed a new baby girl into their family.

The School is asking for donations for Ashlyn and her newborn baby girl to help with expenses and to set up a financial foundation for her daughter’s future. Any help that you can give to Ashlyn and her daughter would be greatly appreciated.

Checks can be made out to Hardin Northern Local Schools with Ashlyn written on the memo line. They will collect for the next 2 weeks and checks or cash can be dropped off at the school.
