The Hardin Soil & Water Conservation District is hosting a contest for 4-H and FFA members with a conservation project.
Registration will take place on Tuesday, September 3rd at 10:00am and judging will begin at 10:30am.
Special consideration for scheduling will be given to participants who are showing livestock that morning.
Participants must give a 4-5 minute oral presentation about their conservation project. Participants will be judged on project knowledge, project completion, organization and neatness, and quality of project.
Approximately $250 in cash awards will be divided to at least the top three participants in each class.
There will be three classes to enter that range from ages 8 to 19.
