Funeral services for Harry Paul Dickson will be private. Burial will take place at Grove Cemetery. The Price-McElroy Funeral Home in Kenton is assisting the family with arrangements.

He died on Monday, June 1, 2020 at his residence in Kenton. He was born on October 15, 1934 in LaRue to the late Monty E. and Adeline O. (Opperman) Dickson. He married Sandra L. Park on December 11, 1959 and she survives in Kenton.

Also surviving are 2 daughters; Kim (Shawn) Middleton of Kenton, Amy (Kurt) Sheldon of Kenton, 4 grandchildren; Trey (Samantha) Middleton, Regan (Logan) Guenther, Gage Sheldon, Weston Sheldon, 2 great-granddaughters; Brailyn Middleton and Landry Guenther.

He was preceded in death by a brother; George Dickson, and a sister; Mary Lou Dickson.

Harry was a proud U.S. Army Veteran.

He retired from Whirlpool in Marion after 38 years of service.

Harry was a member of the St. Johns Evangelical Church of Kenton. He was also a member of the Masonic Order Scottish Rite in Columbus, Kenton Masonic Lodge #145, a member of the Order of Eastern Star, Findlay Chapter 23 and the Kenton Elks.

He was an avid outdoorsman whom loved fishing, hunting, mushroom hunting, gardening and yardwork. Harry also enjoyed woodworking and going to flea markets. One of his greatest passions was spending time with his grandchildren.
